History of WON

WON Objectives

Drive profitability for the Owner; Women Owners are to be equal in the number of stores owned, cash flow, and sales volume as compared to the general market.

Serve as advocates and resources for our members.

Members elected to leadership positions that influence the system while supporting WON vision and values.

Core Values

We model the ideals of integrity and respect

We nurture talent, develop leaders and reward achievement. We believe that working in an environment that fosters respect and drives high levels of engagement, is essential to the organizational growth.

We mentor business entrepreneurs

We take seriously the responsibilities that come with being a leader. We help our members build better communities, support RMHC, and leverage our size, scope and resources to help make the world a better place.

We operate our business ethically

We hold ourselves and conduct our business to the highest possible standards of fairness, honesty, and integrity. We are individually accountable and collectively responsible.

We advocate helping and educating to grow the business profitably

We advocate for sustained profitable growth for our members and advise and support their efforts.

We strive to continually improve

We are a learning organization that aims to anticipate and respond to changing members’ needs through constant evolution

We believe and support the three legged stool

McDonald’s business model, depicted by the “three legged stool” of owners, suppliers and company employees, is our foundation and the balance of interests among the three groups is key

We place our members’ success at the core of what we do

Our members are the reason for our existence.

We are relevant

We are a student, as well as an educator, to effectively communicate the business at hand and strengthen the voice of women owners to influence the system.
